Type to Learn 4
The Oxford Public Schools is happy to be able to provide all of its students in Kindergarten through grade eight with access to Type to Learn 4 (TTL4) by Sunburst.

TTL4 is a web-accessed typing program that allows our students the opportunity to develop proper keyboarding skills and technique, an important 21st century skill.  Although the program must be loaded onto each computer, it is web-accessed and therefore a student is able to continue his/her individual typing instruction from various computers.

In addition to accessing TTL4 at school, students may also use the application at home.  The installation files can be downloaded from the Internet from the TTL4 website.  Be sure to download the full install, web version in either the Windows or MAC format.

Should parents decide to install TTL4 on their home computer it is recommended that they first read the
Quick Installation Guide and review the system requirements.  Since TTL4 is web-accessed, an Internet connection is required.  The download and installation time for the program will vary, based on Internet connection speed and the individual computer.

Once you have installed the application on a home computer, your student can begin using the program with the username and password provided to him/her by their school.  If not known, students can request this information from their school Library Media Specialist or parents can e-mail the technology department at techsupport@oxps.org.  The district code (111338) will also be needed the first time the program is used.

The Oxford Public Schools makes no claim that TTL4 will be compatible with a student’s home computer and is not responsible for other technical issues that occur during or after installation or use of TTL4.

Accessing Technology Support
Faculty and staff in need of technology support are asked to send an e-mail to techsupport@oxps.org.  One of our support staff will respond as soon as possible.  In most cases issues are resolved in one day or less.

IPASS Support Documents
