The Oxford Public Schools recognizes the right of parents to have a home education alternative to public school for their child(ren), and we strive to support home schooling families who undertake the great responsibility of educating their child(ren) at home.
Parents have the right to propose a home education alternative and the Superintendent of Schools has the right, under Section I of Chapter 76 of the Massachusetts General Laws, to approve or disapprove of such proposal. Approval must be obtained prior to implementation.
Should you have any questions regarding the process, please contact the Superintendent’s Office.
