Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC)

Who are we?
We are parents just like you. We come from different backgrounds and are in different professions, but we want the same things for our children. We want to help shine a light for our children so they may be able to navigate the difficult path of life. With friendships and networking amongst ourselves and the professionals with whom we come in contact, we should see our children become productive, self-reliant adults within our community.

Our Mission:
Promoting and helping to facilitate a network for parents of children with special needs and disabilities. We aim to provide a forum to share information and discuss matters of relative interest and concerns.

Our Goal:
As parents of children with special needs, we and the professionals who assist our children need to work together as a team. When we work with the school district, the educators, and the support staff with a civil dialogue, we can make a difference in our children’s experiences in school and prepare them for their life’s journey.

Membership is free and open to all parents/guardians of children with disabilities or special learning needs.
