School Committee
Membership
The School Committee is comprised of five (5) elected individuals who serve staggered 3-year terms of office. After the Annual Town Election each year, the Committee members vote to reorganize its officers.
Further, in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, each year a Student Representative is elected to serve as the liaison between the School Committee and High School students (Student Advisory Council) and to provide insight and support to the Committee's understanding of student issues and perspectives.
