Substitute Teachers and Substitute Custodians are always in demand!

If you do not have computer access or are not comfortable using the SchoolSpring website and you are applying for a Non-Professional position (such as custodian, cafeteria worker, recess aide, or substitute), you may complete and sign our paper Employment Application (see form below) and drop it off or mail it to the Superintendent's Office at 4 Maple Road in Oxford, OR you may scan/email your paper application to [email protected]. 
 
2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR - SUBSTITUTE TEACHER PAY RATES

DAY-TO-DAY SUBSTITUTE TEACHER$120.00 per day

EXTENDED-TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (30 days to 6 months)$150.00 per day for the first 30 consecutive days of classroom instruction and then $281.36 per day (Bachelor's Degree/Step 1). If it is known at the time of hire that the placement will exceed 30 classroom instruction days, the extended-term substitute can be paid based on the Bachelor's Degree/Step 1 per diem rate beginning on day 1. DESE Certificate is preferred but not required. Extended-term subs are not eligible for employment fringe benefits.

LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (6 months or longer): The Superintendent will determine the salary based on education and experience in accordance with the Oxford Education Association salary scale. DESE Certification is required for long-term subs.
Long-term substitutes are eligible for employment fringe benefits.
