As a reminder:

• Doors open at 7:05 a.m.
  • 6th grade will report to cafeteria to meet grade 6 teachers
  • 7th grade will report to main hallway outside auditorium and then go to auditorium to meet grade 7 teachers. 
  • 8th grade will report to main hallway by 8th grade stairs, STEM, Spanish, Art, and PE and then go to gymnasium to meet grade 8 teachers. 
• 1st period begins promptly at 7:15 a.m. daily
• Dismissal: Buses 1:45 p.m.; Parent Pick-up/Walkers: 1:50 p.m. 

Spotlight on Morning Drop-Off and Afternoon Pick-Up:
We shared that we'd be spotlighting  important details in separate communication with you as well.  Tonight, we spotlight morning drop off and afternoon pick up.  

• Please see information attached: Written Directions as well as visual representation of drop off and pick up lanes.  
• Good rules of thumb for efficient and safe drop off and pick up: 
  • Use drop off and pick up lanes only during hours of 7:00-7:15AM, 1:30-1:55PM, 3:00-3:30PM, area in front of main office is reserved for buses. 
  • ALWAYS PULL ALL THE WAY FORWARD IN THE DROP OFF/PICK UP LANES--rain, sleet, ice, snow, sunshine, please always pull all the way forward in the drop off lanes. 
  • Have your child ready to exit vehicle upon pulling up. 
  • Mornings, use lane 1 only to drop off (lane closest to sidewalk parallel to Carbuncle)
  • Afternoons, fill lane 1 first (lane closest to sidewalk parallel to Carbuncle), then lane 2, then lane 3.  You hold in place until vehicle dismissal is released by staff for safety purposes.  We'll look to dismiss lane 1 first, then lane 2, then lane 3, then finally the overflow crossover-driveway.  
  • Never block bus lanes. 
  • Always use caution
